Description

This webinar will provide an overview of criteria and testing procedures that can be used to demonstrate the equivalence of alternatives to the 1/2-inch gypsum or 5/8-inch wood structural panel membrane that is required by Act 1 of 2011.This act eliminated sprinkler requirements, but required a protective floor membrane, the installation of which comes with its own set of challenges. This requirement has driven many builders to seek alternatives, which in turn has caused many code officials to struggle with approval.
