Description

The purpose of this webinar is to introduce on-lot alternative technologies sewer systems for residential applications. It will provide an overview of evaluation process of soil conditions and other factors to determine which type of sewer system would be appropriate. Also, learn how to evaluate an existing system and determine if it is functioning as designed.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the basics of on-lot wastewater septic systems and how they are regulated.
  2. Evaluate the different Alternative on-lot water treatment systems based on soil types and lot conditions that are available for residential use. 
  3. Types of filtration or advanced treatments units used when soil types require a secondary biological treatment. 
  4. Understanding how to evaluate a failing or malfunctioning on-lot septic system.
