Residential Construction Program

Contributions to the Residential Construction program at Penn State come from multiple departments, including Departments of Architecture, Architectural Engineering, and Civil and Environmental Engineering. There are also departments, institutes, centers and programs across the university that support housing and residential buildings, including Department of Risk Management, Institute for Real Estate Studies, & American Indian Housing Initiative. The Residential Construction program is however more structured around the courses offered by the three departments of ArchitectureArchitectural Engineering, and Civil and Environmental Engineering, as well as the activities and programs led by the Bernard and Henrietta Hankin Chair in Residential Building Construction, which includes graduate and research activities as well.

NAHB Student Chapter
