PHRC Workshop
PCCA Workshop - Air Flow in Homes: Managing and Verifying Airtightness
Modern energy codes have placed an increasing emphasis on controlling air leakage into and out of residential buildings. To accomplish this goal, builders must execute a thorough air sealing strategy and proceed with verification through blower door testing. This session will provide a comprehensive look at airtightness in homes, including a look at the fundamentals of air flow through building assemblies. This discussion will include a focus on both code-mandated and above-code strategies that lead to a high-performance building.
