Welcome Pam Slusser as the new Residential Design & Construction Specialist

Date: 10/14/2024

The Pennsylvania Housing Research Center is excited to announce the addition of Pam Slusser to our team as the new Residential Design & Construction Specialist!

In her new role with the PHRC, Pam will assist in providing training and technical education, including video content and webinars for design professionals, code officials, builders, and contractors. In addition, she will help to develop and expand the PHRC educational video library, builder briefs, and policy reports. Pam will also help to develop and maintain PHRC relationships with the residential construction and land development industries and codes professionals, by attending and facilitating trade and professional meetings and serving on various state and national level committees.

Pam has a broad range of experience in the residential construction field. She spent over 20 years teaching secondary students at Columbia Montour Area CTC. Alongside her teaching career, she ran her own residential design firm, where she designed homes and worked on projects like log homes and Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) foundations with builders. Pam also gained experience in window manufacturing and worked on land development projects at a local civil engineering firm, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the residential industry.

Please join us in welcoming Pam to our PHRC team!
